- Sonoma County’s 24/7 Plumbing Experts
BluDog Rooter & Plumbing is a family-owned plumbing company serving homeowners and businesses throughout Sonoma County. Built on honesty, dependable service, and quality workmanship, we’re here 24/7 when plumbing problems can’t wait.
BluDog Rooter & Plumbing started with a simple idea: build a local plumbing company people can trust to show up, communicate clearly, and do the job right.
Gareth’s path into the trades began in Northern England, where he left high school at 16 and trained as a journeyman bricklayer at Carillion Craft Training. After working around his hometown, he set off with friends on a one-way trip to Australia, where he spent the next two years living and working across the country.
It was outside Adelaide, in the seaside suburb of Glenelg, where Gareth met Emily. She had followed her own path to Australia, and before long, the two began building a life together.
Eventually, Gareth and Emily returned to Sonoma County, where they settled down, started a family, and began putting down roots in the community. Gareth transitioned into plumbing, gaining years of hands-on experience before the two launched Yorkshire Plumbing & Drain Services.
What started as a family business focused on honest, reliable plumbing service has now evolved into BluDog Rooter & Plumbing.
The name may be new, but the people, values, and commitment behind the company remain the same. Today, Gareth, Emily, and the BluDog team continue serving Sonoma County with the same straightforward approach, now with an even stronger focus on responsive service and being there when customers need help most.
BluDog Rooter & Plumbing is the next chapter of Yorkshire Plumbing. While the name and branding are changing, the team, experience, and commitment to honest, dependable plumbing service remain the same.
Customers who have worked with Yorkshire Plumbing can expect the same familiar service, now under a new brand built around being there when plumbing problems need attention fast.
You’ll continue working with the same local professionals who built Yorkshire Plumbing’s reputation for quality service.
We’re still focused on honest recommendations, dependable workmanship, and treating customers the way we’d want to be treated.
BluDog reflects our growing focus on responsive service, urgent plumbing needs, and being the company customers can call when they need help right away.
